08.11.2015  Punters showed definite interest in the AD VALOREM filly NO INTEREST at Goulburn, with the chestnut filly starting favourite in the Goulburn Workers Club F&M Maiden Plate over 1300m. The interest proved justified with a good win from the filly who broke through for her maiden victory at her fourth start.

The three year old showed good early speed to settle just behind the leaders. NO INTEREST had to do things the hard way, being posted three wide much of the trip. This didn’t deter her however as she let down well when asked to battle runner up CRAFTY JOY for most of the stretch. The filly showed a good will to win fighting off the second horse for a 0.2 length victory.

NO INTEREST is the first of just two foals that were produced by FOREPLAY mare SUMMER TOUCH, a three quarter sister to Hawkesbury Guineas winner ROADAGAIN and descendant of a strong US family which produced Kentucky Derby and Belmont Stakes winner JOHNSTOWN and Belmont Stakes winner PHALANX.
